      The Lancaster Post 31 juniors were on a diamond mission in more ways than one Wednesday night.

Fort Mill foiled the Lancaster Post 31 senior team’s return to League V Legion baseball play with an extra-inning win over P-31 on Monday night at Fort Mill High School. Fort Mill, snapping a 2-all draw, scored an unearned run in the bottom of the 12th inning to lift Post 43 to a 3-2 win over Lancaster.
