Michael Knight For The Lancaster News The 2011 Lancaster Motor Speedway Vintage Division points championship went to Kenneth Deese. Deese is known around the Carolina dirt tracks as “The Big Show.” Deese has become a fan favorite in the Vintage Division with his Chevy race cars looking just like the late, great Dale Earnhardt’s race cars. This season, Deese captured six wins and posted numerous top-five finishes on his way to winning the 2011 Vintage Division points championship.

LCPRC U12 stars capture state crown

The Lancaster County Parks and Recreation Department 12-under all-stars successfully defended the SCAP state championship title for the third year in a row. On Saturday, the Lancaster County stars traveled to Patriot Park in Sumter and faced stiff competition from the host Sumter 12U all-star team and the Walhalla all-star team.
