Solid pitching and clutch hitting keyed the Lancaster American Legion Post 31 baseball team to a 3-1 win over Rock Hill Post 34 in its 69th Legion baseball opener Monday night in Rock Hill. The Lancaster seniors snapped a 1-all tie with two runs in the top of the ninth inning to key the two-run win.
