Lancaster Dixie Baseball has set its all-star baseball teams for the 2012 postseason tournaments.
The AA all-stars, ages 7-8, are the Yankees’ Landon Williams, Austin Kennington, Bryce Helms, Owen Phillips and Tanner McLemore; Angels’ Tyler Trimnal, Ashton Phillips, Austin Faile; Cubs’ J.P. Cunningham, Kevin Wooden, Adam Wright; Braves’ Landon Deese, Jarrett Laney, Brady Jackson.
The AA stars open district play in Chester on June 25.
The Columbus Parker Track Club qualified 24 athletes at the district qualifying meet to compete at the national qualifying meet in Douglasville, Ga.
The club received 60 awards with 35 being medals, 13 gold. The CPTC also received 17 silver, eight bronze, 10 fourth places, 6 fifth places, 3 sixth places and 3 seventh places.

The Lancaster Tigers swim team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 325-211 win over the Chester Waves on Tuesday at the Lancaster County pool.
Charlee Brooke Henry, Lauren Spencer and Jonah Faile each had four firsts to pace the Tigers.
The Lancaster Post 31 baseball team remained the lone unbeaten team in American Legion League V play, taking a 6-2 win over Fort Mill Post 34 on Wednesday night.
Lancaster, 5-0, built a 4-0 lead through seven innings before Fort Mill answered with two runs in the eighth inning.
The 2012 Lancaster County Parks and Recreation Little League baseball program featured 25 teams throughout the county this season. The leagues were coach pitch, ages 7-8; minors, 9-10; and majors, 11-12.
