COLUMBIA – Starting this month, South Carolinians who receive federal Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) will see a reduction in benefits as a result of federal sequestration.

Sequestration imposed automatic, across-the-board spending cuts to the federal budget from March 1 through September 30. This will not affect claimants who are on the first 20 weeks of state-funded unemployment insurance benefits.

Lancaster Super Speedway will host six divisions of racing action Saturday, May 11.
Josh Langley and Marty Spittle will have to start in the rear of the field after winning three straight races in their respected divisions.
Langley will have to start in the rear of the field in a stout Pure Street Division, and Spittle will have to start in the rear of the field in a very competitive Vintage Division.
