I am writing in response to Denise “Nyse” Hughes Mills letter to the editor, “Blackmon-Brace does not deserve all the negativity,” in the Dec. 18 edition of The Lancaster News. Anytime anyone is doing the right thing, publicity is the last thing a person expects to see or hear.
When you are doing good, silence is golden because then it is done from the heart. This is what God is or will be judging all of us on.
When you help someone, that deed should be between you and that person – not the whole world unless the recipient tells others.
