Oops, they did it again!
Only it’s not an oops. It’s more of a rude, crude one-finger salute directed at you, the public, the taxpayers.
South Carolina’s lawmakers have had six years to come to grips with measures designed to strengthen the state’s Freedom of Information Act, thanks to Aiken Rep. Bill Taylor and others who recognized years ago that real reform was needed in an effort to create better and more transparent government, government that is accountable to the people.
