  • Estridge helps families make best decisions

I went through probate with an estate in 2011. It took only a month or two to complete. Sandy and her court closed it quickly.

Sandy Estridge is excellent in her skills about the law and knows what needs to be done. I trusted fully in her judgment.

She believes in her job. She loves her job. She is very proficient.

I’ve seen her work many hours beyond the normal hours. I’ve seen how she tries to make the best decision for families.

  • Estridge has probate experience we need

I have known Sandy Estridge for over 20 years. I am writing this letter in support of her candidacy for probate judge here in Lancaster County.

I was disheartened to hear the tone taken by her opponent in the recent forum in Indian Land, and even more disappointed in his letter to the guest column and advertisements he has used in recent editions of this paper.

He has stated several times that our probate court ranks in the bottom one-third and that it takes 41 percent longer to settle an estate than the state average.

  • Holt is about serving the people

Public offices require someone with a history of public service. I’m voting for Jerry Holt for probate judge because he has a long history of serving our country and Lancaster County.

He served in the Marines and has been active in Lancaster County on the planning commission and volunteering for veterans service groups.

Mr. Holt’s business experience and education mean he will be able to run the probate judge’s office like a business, saving time and money.

  • Probate judge states her case for re-election

I am honored and humbled to be running for re-election for probate judge of Lancaster County.

I have spent the last two decades working tirelessly to serve the people of this county with honesty and integrity, and most importantly, with compassion.

I have spent the majority of my adult life in Lancaster County; serving the people of this county is my passion.

  • Voters have a chance to make a difference on Nov. 4

Nov. 4 is the day we can do something about our country, and our local government – Election Day. Now normally a midterm election is ignored by many voters. But because of the direction our country is going, this election is extremely important.

If you don’t take the time to exercise your right then you need not complain. You had your chance to speak out and you chose not to.

  • I have the experience to make a difference

With more than 12 years in the criminal courts of South Carolina, I have been in the trenches daily and seen what works.

  • I have a realistic plan for solicitor’s office

As your current assistant solicitor, I have seen the problems and issues facing our community first hand, and I have developed a plan to address them.

Many people comment on what goes on in the solicitors office, but they are on the outside looking in. I am on the inside and I see it every day. I have a plan to make the solicitor’s office more efficient and more effective.

I bring something to the table that many legal professionals don’t have and that’s real world experience.

  • Newman seeks to keep community safe for us all

As an Indian Land Elementary School teacher, I come in contact with and are affected by politics on a regular basis. The support, concern and effectiveness of our political leaders are a key part to our jobs and personal lives. My home was burglarized in 2012 and it was a frightening and emotional experience for my family.
