An organization located in Washington, D.C., named the Senior Citizens League, but not connected to the federal government, has sent out something called the “Notch Register Record.” The record promises to partition Congress to authorize a bill to make a settlement of $5,000 to senior citizens born between 1917 and 1926.
This organization has been active for several years, but principally it wants each senior citizen to donate $10 or more to it. This is just another scare mailing to solicit money and is considered a scam.

response to Sheila
Bickford’s letter regarding U.S. Rep. Mick Mulvaney.
Bickford “did not get it.”
Mulvaney was trying to show her just how difficult it is to deal with the president and the Democrats. Therefore, the president is the “bully.” 
Mulvaney is doing such a great job, but he cannot change Washington, D.C., all by himself. He gives up so much time he could be spending with his family. We are fortunate to have him represent us. He is truly a patriot.

In response to Sheila Bickford’s Carolina Gateway letter, “Mulvaney lacks ability to compromise: You’ve got to be kidding!
Before you make a statement like that, you have to recognize what Washington, D.C., is. Beyond all the statues, pillars, monuments and columns are the lobbyists and special interest groups, whose only job is to extract as much taxpayer money as possible for the interest group they represent.

On March 31, 2009, Lamario Demond “Flip” Ford was murdered in Lancaster County. Until this day, those individuals who took his life have yet to be sentenced.
His family would like some answers so they can finally have some closure.
Numerous calls have been made to the solicitor from the mother of Lamario Ford. The only answers they are willing to give are that they will get to it soon and the trial date keeps getting moved.
