Inez Inman of Enoree thinks of her daughter, Deborah Cole, who was beaten to death nearly 10 years ago, every day.
“I think about her night and day,” Inman said. “I don’t see any peace.”
Inman, 64, said neither she nor Cole had it easy.
Inman had five children, three of whom had birth defects. One of her children died in 1971 at just 13 months old.
Cole was 9 when Inman married her second husband, Inman said. Cole wrote poems, did well in school and graduated from Woodruff High School in 1985, Inman said.
