Sunday is Dad’s big day. Honor him and give him a warm hug and special smile. It’s that one day annually set aside to honor those men who have played a major role in our lives.
That special guy goes by several names – Father, Daddy, Dad, Pop just to name a few, and wears a host of hats.
Father’s Day, celebrated the third Sunday in June, traces its early observance to July 5, 1908 in a church located in Fairmont, West Va., by Dr. Robert Webb at the Central United Methodist Church of Fairmont.
