Snow or not Thursday night, this weekend will continue a stretch of near record-breaking cold.
Forecasters said there was a 50 percent chance of snow overnight Thursday.
Today will be mostly sunny with a high of 35 and with a low of 19 tonight.
Saturday and Sunday will also be sunny, with a high in the upper-30s and lows in the teens.
It’s cold, but not record-breaking, said Wes Tyler of the S.C. State Climatology Office. However, Tyler said this is the longest stretch of cold weather with low temperatures at 20 degrees or below since 1981.
