The Indian Land girls evened their record at 1-1 with a solid 48-35 road win over Fort Mill to highlight a split on Friday night.
In the nightcap, Fort Mill held off stubborn Indian Land for a 57-54 win.
In the opener, the Lady Warriors used a 13-8 third-period run to take a 39-29 lead after three periods.
The IL girls stayed in control to post the 13-point win.
“This is a big win for us,” IL coach Tamara Jacobus said. “We stepped up and hit our shots and we did a fine job of holding Jenna White in check.”
