A longer-than-usual election season is about to come to an end as residents in Lancaster County and eastern York County prepare to head to the polls next week.
Voters will decide who will serve as their District 16 representative in the state Senate.
The candidates are Democrat Keith Brann, Republican Greg Gregory and Libertarian Stan Smith.
The winner will serve the remaining two years of former S.C. Sen. Mick Mulvaney’s term. Mulvaney is now serving in the U.S. House.
