Buford High second-year softball coach “C” Davis said chances are favorable the 2010 Class A state softball champion will come from Region III-A.
A year ago, it did as the Lady Jackets, who finished third in regular-season play, captured their first-ever state softball crown.
The 2010 campaign is a new opportunity and new challenge.
“Our region is one of the strongest in the state,” Davis said. “Any team from the likes of Buford, Chesterfield, McBee or Indian Land could be in contention for the state.”
