INDIAN LAND – For the first time ever, Indian Land High School’s graduating class received their diplomas outside.
With the sun shining overhead on Friday afternoon, the class of 2010 filed across the stage at the Reservation, the school’s football field. Principal Kathy Faris said this was the first class to celebrate under the open sky. She congratulated the class on a job well done.
“Today is a time of eager anticipation and reflection, and this graduation marks a milestone for you,” Faris said.
