The Lancaster County school board unanimously approved its 2016-17 budget Tuesday night, including 2 percent raises for teachers, whose pay has not increased since 2013.
The general fund budget reflects projected total expenditures of $97,297,229, up $6.8 million from the year before. The budget exceeds projected total revenues of $93,611,090. The shortfall will be balanced with equity, or funds from the district's savings.
