A man was wounded in a torrent of gunfire Monday afternoon on East Meeting Street in Lancaster, but was able to run to a convenience store on S.C. 9 Bypass and get help.
“It didn’t appear to be life threatening,” said Capt. Scott Grant, the Lancaster Police Department’s interim police chief. “It was just a graze to the ear.”
The victim was taken to Springs Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
