FAIRFIELD – As a youngster, Johnny Dewese developed an interest in the judicial system and remembers pumping gas and bagging groceries at Raines Store in the Mitford community when Muscoe “Muck” Raines was county magistrate.
“He held court in the store,” Dewese said. “I was intrigued with the people who came in. I always had an interest in court.”
After graduating from Great Falls High School in 1969, Dewese went to work at J.P. Stevens.
