A Columbia man told sheriff's deputies he was robbed at gunpoint Oct. 12 after giving a Lancaster man a ride from Crenco's convenience store on South Main Street.
The victim said he was at the store at 8:30 a.m. when he saw the man, whom he said he has known for a long time, according to a Lancaster County Sheriff's Office incident report.
The victim said he agreed to give the man a ride to his home.
When the victim was about to leave the home, the man put a gun to his head and demanded money, the report said.
