Smith honored at convention
Marilyn Smith, owner and operator of Positive Image in Lancaster, attended the American Massage Therapy Association S.C. Chapter’s annual mini-convention in Myrtle Beach.
Smith participated in the group’s annual business meeting, where she was recognized and awarded with a plaque for 22 years of service. She has been in business in Lancaster since 1991 and specializes in painless Swedish and Lomi-Lomi massage therapies.

INDIAN LAND – Red Ventures has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the region.
The Charlotte Business Journal featured the Indian Land-based Internet marketing and sales firm as part of its Fast 50 ranking, which was announced last month.
Companies applied for inclusion by submitting nominations that included financial performance. Companies had to have annual revenue of at least $1 million in 2009 and be based in the 16-county Charlotte region.

INDIAN LAND – Springs Memorial Hospital has opened a second physical therapy office in Indian Land.
Springs Physical Therapy opened Monday Jan. 3, in Suite 500 of the Shoppes at 521 shopping center, 9789 Charlotte Highway.
The location is an extension of a physical therapy office operated by the hospital in Sun City Carolina Lakes, which has been in business for more than three years, but only open to residents of that development.
