    Great Falls Propane, 1509 Pageland Highway, has opened its doors. The store boasts a new state-of-the-art, interactive gas appliance showroom and customer service center that  includes a propane filling station (for gas grill cylinders and RV’s) with drive-through service.

  • Chick-fil-A opens in Indian Land

    There’s a party happening in Indian Land.

    In case you wondered, that’s what was going on with all those tents set up in front of the new Chick-fil-A at 10032 Charlotte Highway in front of Walmart last Wednesday

    Though the store officially opened at 6 a.m. Thursday, the franchise celebrated with its famous “First 100” promotion.

    The event was a 24-hour party that began Wednesday morning and ended Thursday morning with a year’s worth of free Chick-fil-A meals for the first 100 people through the doors.

    Charlotte-based software firm Verian Technologies broke ground Friday on a new 25,000-square-foot headquarters facility in Indian Land.
    The firm, a leading producer of purchase-to-pay automation solutions for business, was recently recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in Charlotte by the Charlotte Business Journal.
    The new facility is located in the 22.5 acre Rosemont Office Park off S.C. 160, a project also being developed by company owners Tehseen Ali Dahya, Bilal Soylu and Bhavin Shah.
