Deluge moves Relay for Life to LHS stadium

This week’s heavy rains have forced the relocation of Lancaster’s 22nd-annual Relay for Life event, which will be held at Lancaster Memorial Stadium instead of the water-logged Springdale Recreation Center, where parking on the soccer fields would have turned them to mush.
The American Cancer Society fundraising event begins with the survivor lap at 7 p.m. at the stadium, located at 970 Stadium Drive, and continues until midnight.
Lancaster County has a reputation in the state for being a top Relay for Life fundraiser.
