  • Lockey Boyd Powers and Adam Michael Plyler were married at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 22, 2014, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Columbia by the Rev. John Fletcher Montgomery.

    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hendricks Powers of Columbia. She is a graduate of Presbyterian College with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She works for Richland County School District 1.

  • Rebecca Diane Ussery and Paul Everette Cagle were married Nov. 2, 2013, at T&S Farm in Leesville.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Ussery of Kershaw. She is the granddaughter of the late Thurston and Mary Ussery and of the late Waddell and Sara Cauthen. She is a 1997 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and received a bachelor’s degree in physical education from the University of South Carolina in 2005. She works at Carolina Springs Middle School in Lexington.

  • Robby and Dena Criminger announce the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Criminger, to Devin Allman, all of Lancaster.
    The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. April 12, 2014, at Rosewood on Country Club.
    Miss Criminger is the granddaughter of Ken and Pat Crisp of Great Falls, Walter Criminger of Heath Springs and Geraldine Lowery of Orlando, Fla. She is a 2007 graduate of Lancaster High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of South Carolina. She works for Lancaster County School District.

  • Preston and Lisa Frey of Manakin Sabot, Va., and Mark and Barbara Ringhausen of Glen Allen, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jillian Marie Ringhausen, to Andrew Timothy Stroud, both of Columbia.
    The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. April 12, 2014, at The Big Apple in Columbia.

  • Thomas Charlie Mosier and Imogene Williams Mosier celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 14, 2014. They were married Feb. 14, 1964, at Grace United Methodist Church in Lancaster.
    The couple has two daughters, Ann Crews of Folkston, Ga., and Amy Rayburn of Fostoria, Ohio; and two grandsons, Marshall Crews of Folkston and Grant Rayburn of Fostoria.
    Charlie joined the U.S. Navy in 1959 and retired in 1980. After that he worked in Civil Service at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Fla., and retired in 2010.

    The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. May 24, 2014, at Rosewood Country Club.

  • David and Cindy Kennington of Liberty Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Maegan Carene Kennington of Lancaster, to Lance Blake Horton of Kershaw.

    The wedding is planned for 5 p.m. Sept. 20, 2014, at Lake Side Worship on Lake Wateree.

    Miss Kennington is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Calvin Kennington of Lancaster, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson Newman and the late Irene Newman.

  • Kyle and Amy Hunter announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Hunter, to Cody Mackey, all of Lancaster.

    The wedding is planned for March 8, 2014, in Myrtle Beach.

    Miss Hunter is the granddaughter of Carol Perry and the late Craig Perry, Jeanette Hunter and the late Bruce Hunter, Cindy and Paul Taylor and Elizabeth Reynolds, all of Lancaster. She is a 2012 high school graduate and works as a cosmetologist.
