Thomas Charlie Mosier and Imogene Williams Mosier celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 14, 2014. They were married Feb. 14, 1964, at Grace United Methodist Church in Lancaster.
The couple has two daughters, Ann Crews of Folkston, Ga., and Amy Rayburn of Fostoria, Ohio; and two grandsons, Marshall Crews of Folkston and Grant Rayburn of Fostoria.
Charlie joined the U.S. Navy in 1959 and retired in 1980. After that he worked in Civil Service at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Fla., and retired in 2010.

The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. May 31, 2014, at Hightower Hall at Brattonsville in McConnells.
Miss Linkletter is the granddaughter of Helen V. Davis of Atlanta. She is a 2007 graduate of Chester High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Winthrop University in 2013. She is a financial representative.

She is a 2010 graduate of Lancaster High School and received a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from the University of South Carolina in 2013.
W.J. “Dub” and Joyce Hunter Snipes celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 26, 2013.
A party in their honor was given by their children on Oct. 19, 2013.
The couple has two children, Calvin Snipes and his wife Kim and Lisa S. Moree and her husband Danny. They have three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Dub is a retired brick mason and runs a salvage yard. Joyce is a home maker.
Billie Joe Snipes and Dustin Linn Arant were married Oct. 4, 2013, in Myrtle Beach by the Rev. Calvin Snipes, father of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Calvin and Kim Snipes of Lancaster. She is the granddaughter of Dub and Joyce Snipes of Lancaster and of the late Coy and Hannah McNeil. She is a 1999 graduate of Buford High School and attended York Technical College. She works as a cake decorator at Food Lion.
