Wreck victim, family grateful for help

-A A +A

I want to say thank you to our fire department, ambulance service and rescue service people. Their fast response and great work saved the life of our granddaughter, Amber McManus.
She was in a wreck on Dec. 1, 2010. They prepared her to be airlifted to CMC on the scene. They wasted no time to get her ready. It was a great job.
Also, there were four other angels there at the time of the wreck before the rescuers arrived. They are Betty Freeman, Linda Benson, Jacobika Benson and Lisa Benson. They got to Amber and held her head up to keep her from aspirating in her lungs. Thank you so much for going out of your way.
After Amber was airlifted, the ambulance and firemen were so concerned about my husband they went out of their way to bring him home. Also, they asked Billy and Becky Morris to check on him. They didn’t have to but they did. Thank you also for your concern. Amber is home and in therapy now. My thanks go out to everybody for their prayers. Miracles do happen and God is still in control.
