Woman reports New Year’s Day assault

A Lancaster woman reported she was attacked by a man while at a friend’s house on New Year’s Day.

Officers spoke with the 31-year-old victim at a Pardue Street home shortly after the attack, according to a Lancaster Police Department incident report.

The woman told police she was at her friend’s home in the 2100 block of Pardue Street just before 11 p.m. when a man she knew started touching her. She told him to stop and when he didn’t, she slapped him four times, the report said.
