Woman more alert after assault at Charlotte store

Lori Brofsky has been on edge ever since she was involved in a sexual assault a few weeks ago in Charlotte.

The Indian Land resident was shopping at Michael's Craft Store on South Boulevard in Charlotte about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 30 when she noticed a man following her around the store. Brofsky, 37, thought the man may have been looking to steal, so she held her purse tightly and kept on shopping.
