Weddington seeks fourth Battle of the Border title

Duals tournament set for IL gym Saturday

Weddington will be shooting for its fourth straight championship as the Warriors enter the annual Battle of the Border Duals at Indian Land High School on Saturday.

Weddington, which defeated Ardrey Kell 48-31 last winter, is one of three Tar Heel State teams in the nine-team field.

Ardrey Kell is back along with South Mecklenburg and Sun Valley of Union County, N.C.

The South Carolina teams include the host Warriors, Buford, Cheraw, Nation Ford, Northwestern and South Pointe.
