I was quite impressed with Dave Zoglman’s guest column. “New courthouse doesn’t need to be a $33M palace,” in the Aug. 27 edition of The Lancaster News.
The mills and the bleachery are closed.
In one edition of the paper the very nice county administrator made a remark I thought was very rude, not for wealthy people, but for all these folks that have been out of work. He said if people didn’t vote for the sales tax then they could make it up with higher property tax. I agree with Mr. Zoglman. The courthouse does not have to be a palace.
