Warriors fall to Bearcats on mat

The Indian Land Warriors fell to Class AAAA power Rock Hill in prep wrestling on Tuesday as the Bearcats rolled to a 65-12 win.

The Warriors' wins came at 189 and heavyweight.

Brian Gunter notched a pin and heavyweight Josh Gray also had a pin for the Warriors.

"We knew going into the match that Rock Hill has a strong wrestling program, but that's how we're going to improve as a team," IL coach Mike Kersey said. "We have worked against some quality programs, like Lugoff-Elgin and Chesterfield, in December in order to get better.
