Vols fall short at Great Falls

GREAT FALLS - Andrew Jackson battled to the buzzer, but host Great Falls held the upper hand for a 62-50 win and a non-region basketball sweep on Friday night at GFHS.

The Red Devils opened an early lead and stayed on top to gain the 12-point win.

Great Falls opened the twin bill with a 58-29 win over the Lady Vols, who dipped to 2-5 with the loss.

In the nightcap, the 1-6 Vols trailed 36-29 at the break and couldn’t overcome the Red Devils. Great Falls took a 48-35 lead into the final period.
