United Way tax assistance program needs volunteers

United Way of Lancaster County is seeking dedicated volunteers to staff a local income tax preparation program for low-income county residents. 

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA), an IRS program operated generally under the auspices of local United Way offices, aims to provide free tax preparation for individuals and families earning less than $50,000.
