A check on the welfare of three young children led to the arrests of two Lancaster women Tuesday, Oct. 23.
Jennifer Ashley Morris, 22, and Sherri Ballard Morris, 46, both of Pardue Street, were each charged with three counts of unlawful conduct toward a child, according to a Lancaster Police Department incident report.
No additional information about their address will be released to protect the identities of the children.
Police discovered the women and children following a welfare check of the home at about 4:30 p.m.
