Two men hurt in wreck

A Lancaster County resident and another man are in serious condition after being involved in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning.

Presnell Elbert, 65, of Kershaw was driving a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 pickup east on Holiday Road and David McCormick, 64, of Mount Holly, N.C., was heading north on Sunshine Road when the two collided, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.

Elbert ran a stop sign and struck McCormick, said Lance Cpl. Ron Johnson. The accident happened just before 9 a.m. Wednesday.
