Kayla Marjorie Truesdale and Josh Daniel Adams were married March 30, 2013, at Rosewood on Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Sandra Truesdale of Lancaster. She is the granddaughter of Paul and Marjorie Outlaw of Lancaster and the late Ben and Polly Truesdale. She is a 2006 graduate of Lancaster High School and received a degree in medical laboratory technology from York Technical College in 2009. She works at Springs Memorial Hospital as a medical laboratory technician.
The groom is the son of Danny and Elizabeth Adams of Lancaster. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Chappell of Lancaster and the late Lester Adams and of Mathey “Buddy” Barrett of Kershaw. He is a 2001 graduate of Buford High School and received a degree in mechanical engineering and engineering graphics from York Technical College in 2008. He is a field engineering technician for York County Natural Gas Authority.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Michael Truesdale.
Maid of honor was Anna Truesdale of Lancaster, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Raylee Baker of Lancaster and Crystal Emerson of Charlotte.
Best man was Danny Adams, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Justin Adams, brother of the groom, and Michael Swilling, both of Lancaster.
Register attendants were Brenda Mullins and Caitlin Mullins, both of Cumming, Ga.
Music was provided by Down Home Entertainment.
The bride wore a white satin A-line taffeta gown with a sweetheart neckline, a sweep train and a tiffany blue beaded sash. She wore a single-tier, elbow-length veil edged with beads and pearls. She carried a hand-tied clutch bouquet of white roses and tulips tied with a tiffany blue and brown ribbon.
After a trip to Amelia Island, Fla., the couple lives in Lancaster.
