The state's top judge characterizes the burning of the Lancaster County Courthouse as a "criminal invasion" and "lawlessness."
S.C. Supreme Court Chief Justice Jean Toal met with Lancaster County officials Thursday to review security measures at county government buildings in the wake of two fires set by an arsonist at the historic courthouse and the nearby 6th Circuit Solicitor's office last month.
