Those on Social Security deserve pay increase

The cost of everything is going up. Those of us on Social Security have been denied a cost of living increase for the last two years. That is not right. The lawmakers do not have to suffer; we who are on Social Security do. We deserve a cost of living increase just like the individuals who work. We should not be denied what we are entitled to.
A lot of the people on Social Security live in poverty anyway. Why are the lawmakers who are living high off the hog denying the elderly and the disabled what we are entitled to?
