Queserie Nantevia Thompson and Reginald Peay were married at 1 p.m. Sept. 1, 2012, at Christian Assembly Worship Center by Bishop Altheresa Goode Howard of The Master’s Ministry.
The bride is the daughter of Laramie Thompson and Lovette Chambers, both of Charlotte. She is the granddaughter of Bernice Ford of Charlotte and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Thompson of Huntersville, N.C. She is a 2000 graduate of Independence High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
The groom is the son of Clarence Peay and Priscilla Blackmon, both of Lancaster. He is the grandson of Lucille Duncan of Lancaster. He is a 1995 graduate of Lancaster High School and a 2007 graduate of ECPI with a degree in security and management. He works as a machine operator.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Laramie Thompson.
Matron of honor was Catina Duncan of Lancaster, aunt of the groom and Godsister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Jamesilia Williams of Lancaster, Angelia Clark of Charlotte, sister of the groom, and Tiffany Peay of Lancaster, sister of the groom.
Junior bridesmaid was Dionyah Thompson of Lancaster, daughter of the bride.
Best man was Curtis Brown of Rock Hill.
Groomsmen were Rico Reed and Chris Truesdale, both of Columbia,
Jamais Clark of Myrtle Beach, nephew of the groom, and Nalo Lockhart of Lancaster.
Flower girl was Janece Barrier of Charlotte.
