Team's 52 tops Catawba field

The winning team took a narrow victory in the eighth annual Catawba Lions golf tournament at the Lancaster Golf Club on Saturday.

The winning foursome of Phillip Knezevich, Garrett Hammond, Tyler Young and Ray Rainey teamed for a 20-under 52.

The tournament included 20 teams.

The team of Chris Johnson, Steven Threatt, Steve Hoke and Anne Small shot a 53. The third-place team posted a 54. The team included Joe Lytle, Brent Wainscott and Sonny Weeks.
