Cancer is never an easy thing to deal with, but it can help to know there are others going through the same experience.
The Lancaster chapter of the American Cancer Society holds an annual survivors’ luncheon, open to the more than 700 cancer survivors in the community.
This year’s luncheon is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Covenant Baptist Church, 165 Craig Manor Road.
Lorri Crawford, who – with her husband, Richard – has been involved with the luncheon since 2006, said the event is an important one.
