Stop believing lies, follow the truth

-A A +A

In John 1: 4, John writes to a friend in church and says: I could have no greater joy than to hear that our people and children are following the truth.
Our own people are not looking or following the truth today.
Letter writer Sheila Bickford claims civil rights as a Democrat supported policy.
The DNC website in its “Our Party Our History” section also starts out with a lie by saying, “For more than 200 years our party has led the fight for civil rights...”
The truth is the Democrats came to the civil rights table more than 110 years after the Republican Party was formed in 1854. The Democrat Party fought against civil rights using the KKK,  Jim Crow Laws,  segregated schools and work places and public facilities.
They fought Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at every turn. The only rights they supported were for a minority based on their behavior.
I could list with dates many examples. In 1937 President Roosevelt got Sen, Hugo Black (D) on the Supreme Court. He was a former Klansman who defended Klansman against race-murder charges. No civil rights there.
The 1960 GOP  Civil Rights Act was written by Sen. Everett Dirksen (R) and survived a 130-hour filibuster by 18 Democrats to finally be passed and then signed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Then the 1964 Civil Rights Act was finally passed after surviving a 14-hour filibuster also by the Democrats. Johnson claims this act as his but it was another Republican bill with 92 percent of Republicans and finally with 66 percent of the Democrats supporting it. Civil Rights and truth are not a Democrat forte.
Another writer on the opinion again defended the Keynesian wizard economist Paul Krugman. He believes that government can spend its way into economic health, which has been proven  many times over to be a failed idea. Democrats also say that fiscal deficits do matter at some point in time – but they do not matter now in times of crisis.
Keynesians actually believe the problem is the solution if we do more of it. This is called circular reasoning. We got into trouble because of too much spending, but if we spend more we will cure the problem. Explain this to me.
This insanity has to stop now. If you accept the Keynesian economic ideas as truth then you actually live in the world of economic illiteracy.
The Republican Party was formed when the Democrat Party actually voted for slavery. The Republican Party was started with the express intent of protecting all of the American people from the Democrats’ pro-slavery policies that made people inferior  to the state.
With the help of the Tea Party today the Republican Party is still the same supporting  free people,  free minds,  free markets,  free expression and unlimited opportunity for all Americans.
The Democrats support giving special rights to small groups based on some sort of behavior. These are not civil rights and that is the truth.
