COLUMBIA – South Carolina again posted a record year for export activity in 2013, with more than $26.1 billion in goods sold to 202 countries around the globe.
The figures, recently released by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, represent a nearly 4 percent increase in the state’s export value, which was $25.1 billion in 2012 and previously an all-time record for the state.
