State 4-H seeks alumni names for 100th anniversary

CLEMSON – Millions of young people in the Palmetto State have been involved in 4-H since the first corn club was founded in 1908.

Its alumni can spend hours talking about the history of 4-H clubs and their memories.

Since 4-H is celebrating 100 years in 2008, the South Carolina 4-H Teen Council is issuing a challenge to all Clemson Extension offices in the state to collect as many alumni names as possible.

Anyone who has ever been a member of 4-H is asked to contact their local Clemson Extension office to get their names on record.
