For two consecutive years, Springs Memorial Hospital has received a coveted national recognition.

The Lancaster hospital was named one of the United States’ top performers of key quality measures by The Joint Commission – the leading accreditor of health-care organizations in America.

SMH is one of 620 hospitals nationwide to earn the distinction in performance benchmarks, according to a media release issued Wednesday, Sept. 19.
