Springs Close Foundation gives local grants

The Springs Close Foundation along with the nine members of its community advisory committee made grants at their Nov. 21 annual meeting totaling $471,950.

These grants were made to 19 agencies and organizations which assist local citizens who need basic and emergency needs such as food, medical assistance and shelter.
