In an election year when much attention has been paid to campaign contributions, both candidates in the U.S. House District 5 race have received money from sources within and outside the state.
The campaigns for state Sen. Mick Mulvaney, (R-16), and Democratic incumbent John Spratt have received thousands of dollars from individuals, businesses, political parties and political action committees.
