A special day in many ways

It’s April 8, which this year, is Easter. April 8, without being Easter, is still a special date for me.
In baseball lore, you might recall that’s the date Hank Aaron hit his historic home run in Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium to pass Babe Ruth.
A few seasons before the old Braves’ stadium closed, our church, First Presbyterian, took a bus trip to see the Braves play the Phillies.
Do you remember the old outfield sign in left center field where Aaron’s 715th home run sailed out of the park and into history?
