If they were up late enough, school children probably rejoiced Wednesday night as sparkling snowflakes fell outside their windows, most certainly meaning a snow day off at home for Thursday.
But alas, they only got a two-hour delay Thursday.
It also resulted in a two-hour delay for school on Friday.

But schools, government and businesses hardly missed a beat after Lancaster County's first winter storm of the season faded softly into the night.
