IL won one set 25-12, then lost the next three, 25-16, 25-21, 25-22.
“We had some players come off the bench and step up and play well for us, but as a team we couldn’t get it done,” IL coach Olivia Terzo said.
“As a whole it was a decent year for us, but we did come short of our ultimate goal. I am happy with several younger girls with little on court experiences really improving throughout the year. We plan to work hard in the spring and over the summer and be ready next year when we step up to Class AA next season.”
The IL assist leader was Savannah Adams. The digs leader was Rosita Rivera and Alyssa Thomas led in kills.
